Failure modes

Where engineering workflows break.

01

Fragile integrations

API and webhook workflows fail silently, duplicate work, or depend on inconsistent external payloads.

02

Unreliable data

Records arrive incomplete, malformed, duplicated, or shaped differently across providers.

03

Operational bottlenecks

Manual transfers and disconnected systems consume time and create avoidable errors.

04

Unsafe automation

AI workflows take action without sufficient validation, review boundaries, or auditability.

05

Unclear failure handling

Errors are discovered after downstream systems have already received incorrect state.

Reliable Data Intake Pipeline

Public proof asset

A production-minded FastAPI project demonstrating how inconsistent multi-provider data can be validated, normalized, deduplicated and routed safely.

  • Three provider-adapter implementations
  • Pydantic validation and canonical normalization
  • Identity matching and review routing
  • SHA-256 fingerprints and duplicate prevention
  • Idempotent request handling
  • Controlled API failures
  • PostgreSQL-compatible relational design
  • 16 passing automated tests

ENGAGEMENT MODELS

Choose the right starting scope.

Start with a bounded problem and a written scope. Every engagement defines the deliverables, acceptance criteria, timeline and price before implementation begins.

Backend Repair Sprint

$250–$750

Typical delivery: 1–3 business days

A bounded repair for one urgent backend, API, webhook, import or database problem.

Includes

  • Root-cause investigation
  • One agreed repair scope
  • Validation and regression testing
  • Error-handling improvements where applicable
  • Concise technical handoff notes

Scope boundary

Full rebuilds and unrelated feature development are quoted separately.

Request a Repair Scope

Fixed-Scope Integration

$750–$2,500

Typical delivery: 3–10 business days

One clearly defined integration or data workflow delivered against agreed acceptance criteria.

Includes

  • API or provider integration
  • Data mapping and validation
  • Database or Supabase/PostgreSQL workflow
  • Deduplication and failure handling
  • Automated tests
  • Technical documentation and handoff

Scope boundary

Third-party subscriptions, open-ended product development and major frontend work are excluded unless explicitly quoted.

Scope an Integration

Agency Engineering Partner

From $1,500/month

Ongoing reserved support

Backend implementation support for agencies and operators that need reliable engineering behind client-facing automation.

Includes

  • Subcontracted backend delivery
  • API and database integrations
  • Integration hardening
  • Exception handling
  • Automated testing
  • Technical documentation
  • Clear delivery updates

Scope boundary

Monthly capacity, response expectations and deliverables are agreed before work begins.

Discuss Agency Support

HOW IT WORKS

A clear path from problem to delivery.

01

Share the problem

Provide the current system, desired result, urgency and relevant constraints.

02

Receive a written scope

The deliverables, exclusions, acceptance criteria, timeline and price are defined before work begins.

03

Build and validate

Implementation includes appropriate testing, failure handling and progress updates.

04

Review and handoff

Receive the completed work, technical notes and any agreed follow-up support.

FAQ

Questions before we scope the work.

How is payment structured?

Projects below $500 are paid before implementation begins. Larger fixed-scope projects are typically 50% upfront and 50% after agreed acceptance criteria are met. Monthly engineering partnerships are paid at the beginning of each service period.

Can you work with international clients?

Yes. Remote international contract and subcontracting engagements are welcome, subject to payment and contracting compatibility.

What information should I provide?

Describe the problem, current technology, desired outcome, urgency and any known constraints. Never submit passwords, private keys or production credentials through the inquiry form.

Do you offer hourly work?

Engagements are normally scoped around outcomes and deliverables. Hourly or reserved-capacity arrangements may be used when requirements cannot be defined reliably in advance.

Who owns the completed work?

Ownership and repository access are defined in the written scope. Client-specific code is treated as confidential and is not published without permission.

Can you work inside an existing codebase?

Yes. Repair, integration and agency engagements can be completed within an existing repository when appropriate access, documentation and environment details are available.

What happens if the scope changes?

Material changes are documented and quoted before additional work begins. No unapproved work is added silently.
