VantaBlade is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines our data handling practices. Our guiding principle is to collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our services.
1. FreeScan Service
- What We Collect: We collect the email address you provide for the sole purpose of performing the breach check.
- Data Storage: We do not store, log, or otherwise persist the email address you enter or the results of your scan. The entire operation is performed in-memory.
- Optional Opt-In: If you choose to opt-in to our mailing list during a FreeScan, your email will be stored in our secure marketing platform for the purpose of sending you breach alerts and security tips. You can unsubscribe at any time.
2. DeepScan Service
- What We Collect: To perform a DeepScan and deliver the report, we collect your payment information (processed via Gumroad) and the identifiers you wish to scan (email, usernames, etc.).
- Data Storage: We store the data necessary to generate your report for a maximum of 30 days, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems. We retain a record of the purchase (transaction ID, delivery email) for support and refund purposes.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data with essential service providers for payment processing (e.g., Gumroad) and report delivery.
